Inspecting Your Mailbox...

You should inspect your mailbox post for cracks, dry rot or deterioration periodically and especially in the fall before the winter season. Posts with cracks, dry rot or deterioration will most likely get damagad when hit with snow during snowplowing operations.

It is easier to replace a damaged mailbox post during the fall months before the ground is frozen. Mailboxes should be securely fastened to the post.

All mailboxes need to be able to withstand the force of the snow and ice from the snowplow. During the winter season, it is inevitable that some mailboxes and posts will fall victim to the force of the snow and ice.

The MailSwing is designed to withstand this force and allow you to have many years of hassle free mail delivery without having to replace and repair your mailbox posts.
